Sand pouring down my toes, waves gushing up my gut

We walked past each other, your eyes brushed my soul
Blank on my face, Blank in my mind, 

Right then my heart yearned for life to rewind.

Someone had left, leaving memories and scars behind

The words from the past, were etched on my heart 

Your sluggish eyes , that stare was one of a kind

Now my heart yearned for this stare, yes it was art! 

From art , to love , this stare was a shackle

We thought our love was then a  miracle.

I am lost finding myself,my mind is still fickle.

I can't talk about love, my heart's turned brittle.

I still stare up the sky, I still stare at the waves.

Silent Slain

Some say, love never dies. I say, It does.
If you can fall in love, you can fall out too.
And when you stop, it is not hate.
Is Love Sane or is it Silent Slain?

Was that a stranger or was that you again 
I stared into your eyes, through our pain.

My knees felt weak and my heart felt a bane.

Trip to Las Vegas!

I and Neha (My best critique and a friend I can die for) had been planning to meet in US for quite a long time.

What better place than Las Vegas! Tickets booked, trip planned. This was going to be the trip we both would cherish for the whole life.And we were really really looking forward to seeing each other after almost 5 months.

December 18th '2009

And we Land in Vegas....

My flight was scheduled to reach an hour earlier than Neha's.We had planned to meet up at the airport and then head to our hotel.As soon as I collected my baggage, I went straight to the slot machines at the Vegas airport...not to try my luck,but to get the feel of being in Vegas.

I lost somewhere around 10$ in 20 mins and acted stingy not to pull out another 10$ bill from my pocket.

Just then My phone rang...and on the other side she shouted 'Where are you'.

Well we had the usual drill of 'Where are you...which color ...which side...Aaah I can see you'.

She was yet to collect her baggage, and we headed straight to get it , each one wanting to blurt out everything first.She won.

She told me about her new friend Jersey she had met on the flight,and it seemed she narrated Jersey's full life's story in 5mins.As we were waiting for her Big bag at the conveyor , Jersey joined us...Introductions , Good byes in a couple of mins and then we were all set to Hit it.

We headed straight towards the gate and somehow managed to find our 'booked' shuttle.

I was really really eager to show my new camera to My best critique and get an approval for the mammoth 1100$ I had spent on it.I started clicking pictures right away....and Man..she liked it in the first look.My investment was declared Safe.

On our way to the hotel , everything looked all lit up! Lights , Big theme buildings ,digital hoardings. Our shuttle driver was good and we reached the hotel in around 30mins.

'Golden Nugget', A little tired, we found our room and crashed on the bed as soon as we reached the room.

The view from our room was nice, Lit up buildings , colorful lights etc.We would see the Freemont street right in front of our hotel.We got ready and went down, to have a look at the freemont street after a quick dinner.

It is a nice place with pictures on the ceiling and loud music to kick up your spirit.We spotted people drinking like, they were drinking water.Bear flasks were as big as 2ltr , everyone was holding some or the other drink in their hands.We had a coffee at Starbucks.

It was getting late and we decided to head to the casino located in our hotel.Well , we started with playing the slot machines.We lost....and decided otherwise.We explored the casino, I had the first tequila shot of my life.Finally we won around 20$ , so the final consensus was reached....that we should be drunk to win.Ha ha ha ha!

Finally after a lil chitchatting we called it a day.
